Mike's 50th Birthday!

Tonight Erica's Cupcakery got the honor of providing the cupcakes for a very special man's 50th birthday party. Mike Yancey is not only Uncle Extraordinaire, but he is also my Godfather.  This milestone birthday would not be complete without his cupcakes of choice.

First on the list is the very popular Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cupcake with Cookie Dough Buttercream Frosting.

A delicious, decadent, buttery cupcake with a surprise inside:

Oh yes, a chocolate chip cookie dough treat in the middle! This (egg free!) cookie dough truly brings out the kid inside, sneaking bites of cookie dough from the bowl.

Not to be outdone, the second cupcake was the Carrot Cake Cupcake:

This Carrot Cake Cupcake with Cream Cheese Buttercream Frosting is sure to please. Chock full of pineapple, walnuts, and, of course, carrot! The Cream Cheese Buttercream Frosting is the perfect compliment to this supreme flavor.

It was such a fun night, and everyone was able to get their fill of cupcakes! A big shout out goes to Martha Yancey, (Aunt/ Godmother Extrodinaire) who orchestrated the event.
